Puppies are very lovely animals to pet. They grow to be the best friend of your life. So it is very important to teach your puppy all the good behaviors and prevent him from catching the bad ones. You can train your puppy either at a puppy training center or at you home by yourself. Here are some tips to help you train your puppy:

1. Start training your puppy as early as possible. The earlier you teach, the quicker they learn. Soon after you bring a puppy home, start training him. You should keep your puppy training session short so as to prevent your puppy from getting bored and losing his attention.
2. You should train your puppy to socialize. If your puppy isn’t socialized then it may be aggressive towards others. So it is important to teach your puppy to feel comfortable with humans and other animals.
3. Look for special behavioral signs in your puppy such as sniffing or circling the floor. Such behavioral signs indicate a particular need of the puppy such as peeing or defecating. That way you will too learn when to take your puppy out for peeing.
4. You might find your puppy chewing or biting anything available. These are normal behaviors for any puppy in growing age. In such a case, you should gift your puppy a chew toy or chew bone.
5. It is advisable to train your puppy at home. It is because training your puppy at home will prevent him from any kind of distraction and help him focus.
6. You should reward your puppy for any kind of good behavior shown. This will make him understand that such a behavior is acceptable and so he will follow the instructions from next time too. On the other hand if your dog doesn’t obey what you say, you shouldn’t beat him or punish him harshly. Instead, you should speak to him in a stern voice.
7. Puppy can’t learn everything overnight. So it is important to have patience. Also, initially puppies tend to easily forget your instructions, so don’t be frustrated if you need to repeat your commands to teach him. You should be consistent in your puppy training.
