Beagle are a great breed of dogs and can be very good friends to humans. And training your beagle puppy in the correct way should begin right when you bring it home. Beagle training can be fun and joyful to both the puppy and you. You should train your puppy as soon as you bring it home. This way he will learn any commands or behaviors quicker. And the first step to training your beagle puppy is socialization. When you introduce your beagle puppy to other members of your family, friends and community, your puppy will learn to mingle with everybody. This will help to dissuade problems like possessiveness and aggression.

Here are some ways to socialize and train your beagle puppy to get well behaved results from him:
- Introduce him to other members of the family, friends or community in both group and individual.
- Allow him to interact with other people, puppies or dogs that you happen to meet during walks. This will help him socialize. However do not cause forced meetings. They should be willing to meet themselves.
- If your relatives and friends allow, take your beagle to their house. This will give him a new environment to get familiarized with other individuals.
- Take him to playgrounds or parks where he can meet lots of other people and animals. This will help him to become comfortable when seeing lots of other individuals.
- Play with your doggy each day touching his whole body including his belly, paws and other body parts. This will establish his trust on you.
- This is the most widely used tip. When your puppy obeys your command, treat him with little gifts. This will encourage him to carry out acceptable commands.
- If your beagle puppy doesn’t obey your commands, don’t scold him or show anger. This will discourage him. Instead speak to him a stern voice. This will let him know that such a behavior is not accepted.
- And the most important factor, be persistent with your beagle puppy training.
